Voilaaa It’s been a while and I haven’t been keeping a record on my past courses, so let’s continue the trend. Apart from Datacamp, I bought a couple courses on Udemy as well since they were on Black Friday campaign 🤣🤣🤣

[14 Feb 2025] Course 1 — Data Visualization in Google Sheets

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💖💝💘💌 and also! another course done on Data Visualization in Google Sheets which covers on

• How to create each charts e.g. Sparkline, Waterfall, column, Line, Histogram. Modify the chart titles and other attributes.
• Conditional formatting
• Data validation rules

It is the final course from the Google Sheets Fundamentals skill track, in which, I hadn’t finished since last year. Now it’s all done for the track 😂😂 Took me a while !

[22 Jul 25] Course 2 — Google Sheets – The Comprehensive Masterclass

It’s been a while since I last took the online course. This time, it is on Udemy. Google Sheets Masterclass by Leila Gharani, the youtuber you may have seen her a lot on excel, power bi, google sheets tutorial. Thus, I decided to buy a comprehensive course from her. I learn a lot, including tips & tricks on google sheets. F4 button can do many things. the difference between VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP. I’ve never used HLOOKUP! The most unearthing unit is the number formatting and QR code generation, App Script, Macros. I recommend if you want a course that go thoroughly from the basics, formulas, charts to advance modules. Especially, Udemy have a discount price regularly.

[15 Aug 25] Course 3 — Introduction to Databricks

It’s beeeeen a long time I haven’t taken course on Datacamp even though I’ve been a long time DC subscriber, so let me finish some of it. I hear the name Databricks for a while, so I want to know more what it is. It’s a plotform which combines the ideas of Data warehouse and Data Lake to DataLakehouse, thus it’s a single platform for all data workloads. The exercises provide virtual connection so I can get a hand on the platform without any installation.

[18 Aug 25] Course 4 — Introduction to dbt

dbt (data build tool) is a tool for DE to help handling ELT/ETL. it can define data models, relationships b/w data models, run data transformation processes. test data quality requirements.

The course let you through the virtual remote session that allows you to navigate the browser, and run shell commands such as

dbt init
dbt run
dbt docs generate

Learn what is Jinja template, template to help minimizing the iteration of the code. Anyway, this is a very short and a basic course, so it doesn’t go into the detail thoroughly.

Prerequisite knowledge you need to know prior this course: sql, bash, data warehouse concept because the exercises have SQL,Bash script to fill.

[19 Aug 25] Course 5 — Intermediate dbt

A sequel course to Introduction to dbt. This course walks you through Testing & Documentation and Deployment. The concepts the course teach are:

dbt test, dbt source, dbt seed, dbt build, dbt test

[21 Aug 25] Course 6 — Databricks Concepts

The course walks me through what the Databricks is. Navigating through Databricks platform in a provided remote session thus I don’t have to set up anything. How to use notebook within a platform

[22 Aug 25] Course 7 — Data Management Concepts

The Course explains why Data Management is crucial. Data life cycle comprised of: Data acquisition, Data storage, Data processing, data use and sharing, Data Archiving. The principles of effective data management, in which, comprised of, Leadership, Risk Management, Training, Data Strategy, Adherence to data standards.

[5 Sep 25] Course 8 — AWS Concepts

The course walks me through what the AWS is. It’s a cloud-service from Amazon that provides many services. e.g. S3 for storage,lambda for function, EC2 for cloud computing platform. The course provides a remote session hence I can have a hands-on experience to try creating S3 bucket, navigating through the billing section, and be able to differentiate the difference b/w AWS Management Console, Programmatic Access, Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Yet, the concepts is quite tough for me as my skillset does not build for Data Engineer. As a result, the content in this course is challenging to me.

[14 Oct 25] Course 9 — AI-Assisted Travel Planning

A short project with objective questions to let you ask GPT in the Datacamp freely, and select the correct answer provided in the platform. The question is about Travel Planing.

[14 Oct 25] Course 10 — AI-Assisted Restaurant Planning

Similar to above Project. This one is just about a Restaurant Planning.

[15 Oct 25] Course 11 — Cleaning Data with Generative AI

Short course with objective questions. It asked you about cleaning data pandas syntax. For example,

• What is the correct Pandas function to standardize the date format?
• What is the correct Pandas function to approach splitting these columns?
• What is the correct Pandas function to filter out null (empty) values?

[22 Oct 25] Course 12 — Introduction to AI Agents

This course is quite tough. It teaches the theory such as

• The Agentic Trinity: Model, Tools, Orchestration
• The Thought-Action-Observation Cycle

Why is Language Model bad for answering arithmetic problem and we use ReAct prompting to have GPT explain the step. With this prompting, it answer a correct answer.
